The moon was high
and lightbulb white
illuminating my way home that night
then as I took a country lane
something happened
and nothing was the same
I walked through a web
I felt it on my face
I could sense a spider in my personal space
I walked through a web
I can still feel it now
and I'm scared to go out
I brushed and spat
and shook my hair
I ran home convinced it was still there
and since that day I'm never alone
forever haunted
by an an angry spider form a broken home
walking through a web
you better beware
you might not even notice there's a spider in your hair
laying little eggs
that get into your brain
and then they take control
so you never break a web again
walking through a web
you better give it a miss
don't end up like me with a life like this
walking through a web
was the worst thing I did
I think I'm turning arachnid!
